I wanted to design a large blanket scarf that was easy to wear and used as much of each skein as possible. I’ve also been extremely inspired by New Orleans culture as well as the magic of voodoo.
This asymmetrical rectangular shawl uses five different skeins of fingering weight yarn to their maximum potential! The simple cable down the middle adds a little flair in between the asymmetric garter sections. I enjoyed combining both tonal colors as well as speckled skeins to make a wildly colorful wrap. Use all complementary colors for a sharp, contrasting shawl; speckled skeins with matching semi-solids, or something totally different! It’s highly customizable! Follow your arrow …. wherever that may go.

Yarn Requirements:
All colors will use the same yardage of approximately 350-420 yards
