STYLE
Super easy sweater to knit as is her sister pattern Wallis. This pattern is exactly the same as Wallis however, it uses a thinner yarn. This is a basic pullover that consists of a garter stitch hem and stockinette stitch for the body. It has a square neckline that is achieved by a stitch change and a simple bind off. The sleeves also have garter stitch at the hem. There is no increasing or decreasing, making for a very easy knit. Following our step by step videos at www.olioknits.com will act as your own personal tutor. Start knitting today and you’ll be done in no time! HAT pattern sold separately!

SKILLS used
Casting on - Binding off - Knitting - Purling
Stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row)
Garter stitch ( knitting every row )
YARN
Worsted weight I used 5 ( 5, 6, 7, 7, 8 ) of Loops & Threads Impeccable 190 yards. Color 3 97% Acrylic, 3% Other Fiber This is a good, inexpensive yarn for a beginning knitter. If you’re more experienced I suggest Malabrigo Rios or another worsted weight yarn of your choice that gets 4.5 sts. To the inch.

SUPPLIES
#8 Needles - Stitch Markers or safety pins - Tapestry Needle - Tape measure
Gauge
4.5 sts. =4” square in Stockinette Stitch using a #8 needle Most knitters will use a size #8 but the needle size varies with each knitter.
