Materials:

• 300-350g yarn (between sport and DK depending on your gauge)
• needle size: see below (what is listed above is for size large)

SMALL

• Japanese size 7 & 8 (4.2 & 4.5 mm) double-pointed AND straight needles
• gauge with size 8 (4.5 mm) needles: 17st/23rows (10x10cm)

MEDIUM

• Japanese size 9 & 10 (4.8 & 5.1 mm) double-pointed AND straight needles
• gauge with size 10 (5.1 mm) needles: 16.5st/22rows (10x10cm)

LARGE

• Japanese size 11 & 12 (5.4 & 5.7 mm) double-pointed AND straight needles
• gauge with size 12 (? mm) needles: 16st/21rows (10x10cm)

NOTE: The website includes directions for three variations of the vest: Stylish Vest, Basic Vest, and Basic Sweater (i.e., Basic Vest plus sleeves). The Stylish Vest differs only by having ribbing all the way up the sides of the torso for a more form-fitting shape.
