What do you mean, that’s crocheted? It looks knitted!

This beanie is crocheted using the waistcoat stitch - which is the perfect stitch to mimic the look of knitted fair isle work. I’d say this pattern is suitable for intermediate level (or adventurous beginner) crocheters.

The beanie shown was crocheted using Lion Brand Heartland for the main color and Caron Simply Baby for the white detail. I used less than one skein for each color; about 3/4 for the green and less than half for the white.
