This pattern was written for The Knitting Goddess May yarn club and was designed to work with a set of 7 X 20g mini skeins, however it would also make the perfect stash busting project.

A simple slip stitch pattern at each colour transition adds interest and the squishy garter stitch makes more plenty of relaxing knitting - ideal for a holiday or travel project.

This shawl is named because I knit the bulk of it whilst on holiday in Wastwater, in the Lake District with my family. Many hours spent watching two young boys skimming stones and building dens.

Mini skeins, garter stitch and happy memories!
