This scarf is a very easy lace pattern, working up very quickly with worsted weight yarn. With a 56 stitch cast on and a 6 row, 7 stitch repeat of the main pattern, you can see how this only adds to the fast completion.

Using 100% wool really lends well to the scarf blocking to a nice size, showing off the beautiful, and did I say, easy lace work. A nice piece to impress that idea “Oh, you must have worked so hard on this” and a great piece to give as a gift.

Materials needed are 600 yds. worsted weight yarn. I used KnitPicks Wool of the Andes, Haze Heather. I really was impressed with how well this yarn blocked and retained its’ shape. Size 8 straight Knitting Needles, and 2 stitch markers.

Because the pattern is worked on so few of stitches and rows the ability to adjust length and width is easily done. Also, substituting different yarns and needle sizes will bring great results with a slight difference in look.

I truly hope you enjoy your new project.

Please feel free to e-mail any questions. Would love to see a pic of your finished scarf.
