Wedding Guest Capelet came about because I needed a way to dress-up a plain outfit to attend a wedding, and I already had some lovely Woolfolk Luft in my stash. The wave pattern is one on which I have been brooding for years, and finally engineered a pleasing design.

This capelet is crocheted sideways in short-rows using a combination of slip-stitch, double and single crochet. Six sections are separated by notches at the bottom and joined together in a recovery row. The 10-stitch, 8-row pattern is easily memorized.

As with all P.K. Olson patterns, your creation is your work and yours to do with as you please. Give them away, sell them, or keep them. Just make them with love and please be considerate by not copying/selling the pattern or claiming it as your own.
