In this MCAL I will be introducing you week by week, over a four week period to a very special and famous couple – pattern includes two hair caps and two outfits consisting of 10 items.

What you need to do before this MCAL begins…
You will need to make two Luby dolls for this MCAL, one with blue eyes (female doll) and one with brown/gold eyes (male doll). The hair caps and outfits in this pattern have been designed to fit my Weebee Luby Doll, you can find the pattern available here, a FREE version is available, please see Ravelry page for more info.

All the aspects of this MCAL pattern have been tested and proofread by several talented and experienced crocheters! However in the event that you do find an error in any aspect of the MCAL please do not hesitate to contact me and I will amend as soon as possible.

How will this mystery Crochet Along work?
A crochet along involves a group of people all working on the same pattern at the same time and at the same pace. The mystery element of this crochet along is that you won’t know entirely what you’re working on until the very last week.

This MCAL will begin on Monday 13th February 2023.

Updates will be posted in the form of a further PDF to your Ravelry Library and/or email address (if you have no Ravelry account) every Saturday from then on for 3 further weeks. You will receive an email and a Ravelry message (again if you have an account) to inform you that this has happened.

Schedule:
Part 1: Monday 13th February 2023
Part 2: Monday 20th February 2023
Part 3: Monday 27th February 2023
Part 4: Monday 6th March 2023

At some point after the MCAL has ended I will remove the 5 PDF’s – the welcome document, parts one, two, three and four – and replace them with the whole pattern. I will also rename the pattern. Again you will receive an update to let you know that this has taken place. You will still be able to access the pattern even though the name of it will have changed.

Mystery Crochet Along FAQs

What colours will I need?
These are included in the welcome pdf you receive when you purchase the pattern. They are also shown as colour swatches on the pattern page on Ravelry.

Do I have to premake anything beforehand?
Yes, you need to make two Luby dolls before this MCAL begins, one with blue eyes, another with brown/gold eyes.

Is the doll pattern included in the MCAL pattern?
No but you can find the pattern via Ravelry – see link above or search for Weebee Luby Doll.

When does the MCAL start?
Monday 13th February 2023 - I will post the first part as soon as I wake up here in the UK on that date.

When does the discount for the MCAL end?
Midnight on 12th February 2023 UK time just before the MCAL starts.

Can I still purchase the pattern after the MCAL starts?
Yes, you can start at any time during the 4 weeks but the pattern will return to full price once it has started.

Do I have to come online at a certain time to join in?
No, you have a full week to complete each part. If you have any queries or want to post your weekly progress pictures, head to the event page on Facebook.

Do I have to pay weekly for the MCAL?
No, the price you pay is for the entire pattern. You will receive updates each week from Monday 13th February 2023 via email and via Ravelry message if you were logged in when you purchased the pattern.

I’m not sure whether I will like the pattern, can you tell me more about it?
I’m afraid not because this is a mystery CAL. If you have liked my previous patterns, you should hopefully like this one too though fingers crossed. Alternatively you could wait for the first couple of parts to be published and join in from then on if you like what you see, but of course you’ll miss out on the discount before it starts.
