This dramatic design gives effortless versatility and styling options. The vest fronts are worked in mitered short-rows that create diagonal sections, beautifully detailing the variegated yarn. The back is worked side-to-center by picking up stitches along side edge of each front and working to center back where the two halves are then joined with the 3-needle bind-off method. An unusual feature of the design allows the vest to be worn longer in the torso with a short collar (shown) or reversed for a cropped length with a striking collar.
