Minimal written instructions, all colourwork requires the use of a chart after the first two rows (which are written out to set up the pattern). Instructions for the back of the cushion are written.

Materials required for each cushion: size 4 mm knitting needles, 600 metres Aran weight yarn in main colour, plus 200 metres each of two contrast colours, 3 x 2.5 cm buttons forcushion back, 40 cm square cushion pad.

Finished size: approximately 16-inches/40 cm square

Charts included for plain tapestry cushion, English and Welsh words for message section (Love, Hugs, Cariad, Cwtch)

This based on a traditional tapestry design from North Wales.
