This easy-fitting pullover vest is knit in 2 pieces from the bottom up. Its high waist and slightly flared shape with side vents at the bottom will be flattering to many body types. There is a Gansey-style knit/purl pattern on the upper bodice which can be worked from either charted or written directions.

It’s perfect for fall or early spring, when a heavy sweater is too much.

One of the pattern testers had the wonderful idea to convert this vest to a maternity/nursing version. The “bun in the oven” version features short rows under the bust and side gussets that widen towards the bottom. This idea was the brainchild of mustloveyarn , and you can find the mods here on her project page for this pattern!
