EXPERIENCE/SKILL LEVEL
Crochet: Beginner/Easy - involves chaining, single crochet, half double crochet, and slip stitch joining

SIZE
Sample shown measures 14 inches wide by 14 inches tall, not counting strap. Perfect for use as a wheelchair carry all bag, or adjust the strap size to use as a library book bag, a laptop or tablet bag, or a shopping tote.

NOTE
This project uses 2 strands of sport weight cotton blend yarn held together throughout (approximately 300 to 340 yds of each) & a size I-9/5.5mm hook. You could use 1 strand of a worsted weight cotton or cotton blend instead.

GAUGE
Is not really that important for this project, but this is what I got holding 2 strands of sport weight yarn together and using a size I crochet hook:

12 sc x 8 rounds = 2.5 inches
12 hdc x 11 rounds = 4 inches
