This shawlette is named for the White Dwarf — a small, dense star near the end of its life. Its for that lone skein of beautiful yarn that’s been languishing in your stash waiting for the perfect project to show it off!

Finished Size
Appx. 45” wide across top x 19” deep at point (size will vary dependent upon amount of yarn used--the shawl is easily adjusted to use more or less yarn.)

Yarn
Luna Grey Fiber Arts Orion (100% superwash merino; 289 yds/100 g): Harbor, 1 skein. Appx. 289 yds — exact yardage will vary!

Needles
Size US 6 (4.0mm) — Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. Although gauge is not crucial on this project, any changes will affect the amount of yarn needed!

Notions
Tapestry needle, stitch marker, blocking wires.

Gauge
20 sts and 30 rows = 4” in Garter stitch, Cable Panel = 5½″ (both are after blocking!) To save time and ensure proper measurements, please take time to check gauge.
