Toasty cabled leg warmers in wickery stitch patterns - a pretty lattice stitch wraps around the sides and back, and a scaled-up cable makes a statement up front.

Construction: Warmers are knit in the round from bottom to top.

Yarn: Sunday Knits 5 ply yarns: Eden (100% merino), Nirvana (92% merino, 8% cashmere), Angelic (75% merino, 25% angora) or Brigadoon (100% merino tweed); (each blend has 137 yd /125 m to 13⁄4 oz / 50 g); 3 skeins. Shown in Brigadoon stone.

Substitute 320 yards of any worsted weight wool or wool blend yarn that works well to gauge.

Needles & notions: Size 5 / 3.75 mm and 6 / 4.0 mm double-pointed or circular needles; stitch markers.

Gauge: 19 sts = 4” / 10 cm in 2x2 rib using smaller needles, and 19 sts and 28 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in Main Stitch Pattern using larger needles.

Skills needed: Cables, knitting in the round, reading charts.

Pattern includes: Written instructions, stitch patterns in both written and charted form.
