Slip a little cozy on the foot of your wine glass and you’ll
never see those red wine or moisture rings on your furniture
again! These make a great gift as a set for your imbibing
friends. This little design was first published without the
photos and description as a mystery knit-along.

Use one of the suggested yarns (Elann Espirt or Cascade Fixation) for best results! The elastic will prevent sagging soggy-diaper syndrome if the coaster gets especially wet.

This project uses a crocheted cast on by Emily Ocker
because it is tidy and is joined in a round. If you are
not familiar with this method there are many
resources available in lace knitting reference books
and online including YouTube.
