It is not a secret the fact that one of the things that I love to make the most is dolls!, I love making them and I love seeing my kids playing with them! (I know that will go away as they grow but I am enjoying it so much!). After I make the little Star costume for halloween, I had the idea of making a doll as well, it has been a few iterations and I make her hair 4 times! I am very happy that she is here now!, (I have been keeping her from my girls until after the pictures and it has not been easy!)… I am having a tone of ideas now for more dolls! :)

Materials and notions:
70g of DK or light worsted weight yarn, I used ICE bamboo and wool mix in white
Hook size F (3.75 mm) and N/P (10 mm)
Toy stuffing (I used an old pillow for mine)
Toy safety eyes
Embroidery floss in black for eye slashes and pink for the lips
About 10 inches of silver rick rack ribbon
A few yards of sequins yarn for the shoes I bough mine in Tiger
50g of super chunky yarn (for the hair)
Anchor silver and sparky white yarn (for the star and the little skirt)
Tapestry needle
Matching sewing thread, needle and pins
Optional:
I hand sew some sparkled beads in her hair, I used some smaller ones and a couple larger ones for the back of the hair
A pipe cleaner for the neck
