”Winterfell is the ancestral castle and seat of power of House Stark and is considered to be the capital of the North. It is located in the center of the northern province of the Seven Kingdoms, on the kingsroad that runs from Storm’s End to the Wall. It is situated at the eastern edge of the wolfswood, north of the western branch of the White Knife and Castle Cerwyn. Winterfell is south of the northern mountains and southeast of Long Lake.”

This is a shawl knitted with double moss stitch, stockinette stitch and garter stitch. It’s a halfcircle shawl with extra increases in the end to make the shawl a bit more crescent shaped. Together with knit, purl and travelling stitches it has a pretty star pattern all over the shawl.
