The yarn used for this pullover dictated the design that I had come off my needles! “Ocean” the beautiful teal color that Carons Simply Soft yarn displays was delightful to work with and created a stylish pullover that is highlighted with wishbone cables and moss stitch.
This pullover was designed as a gift for my daughter in law and when I see how often she wears it, I know that she is as much in love with it as I was when I had it on my needles.
Raglan sleeves make the design easy to create and easy to fit. Erin works out at the gym often and her upper arms are large so I wanted a design that was flexible in this way. The wishbone cables run down the front and the back and are also present running down the center of the sleeves. Moss stitch is used flanking the cables to create a garment that will have less tendency to stretch with wear and washing.
The neckline has been created with a small opening that has the option to be buttoned if the wearer desires.
Designed in sizes S-M-L, the one shown in the photo is a size L.
This pullover required 7 skeins of 170g of Carons Simply Soft.
