This chunky woman’s bobble hat and matching cowl would make a cozy gift for yourself or to give to someone.

• DESCRIPTION

The hat + cowl set is easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create ribbing, knit in the round, and decrease and shape.

This hat and cowl will be super cozy to wear in the cold weather.

Yarn

3 skeins of super bulky yarn – in blue – I used Hayfield Super Chunky With Wool in shade 0056

1 skein or a scrap of light grey (I used Yarn Art Alpine in 334) suitable for size 10.00mm (US 15) needles.

Lion Brand wool ease thick and quick or something similar (Super Bulky) would also be fine to use.

Needles

10.00mm (US 15) 16″ circular knitting needles for the hat.

10mm (US 15) 24″ circular knitting needles for the cowl.

• SKILLS

Level – Easy

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing, decreasing and working in the round.

• SIZING
