Cute as a little pixie, this poncho will keep the chill off your little ones in the fall or spring!

I’ve combined the softness and durability of superwash merino wool, with the whimsy of whatever oddments of sock yarns you might have lying around (we know you saved them for just this kind of project…) to make colourful leaves that look as if they are gently falling around the tree motif in the middle of the poncho.

Have fun with colours, and enjoy making this one-piece, bottom-up constructed poncho for the wee elf/pixie in your life!!!

Sizing goes from 1-2 yr, 2-3 yr, 4-5 yr and now 6-7 yr !!!

The main body is worked in the round up to the shoulders then worked flat to the top of the hood.

(I have made this with pattern with variegated worsted weight wool as well, with solid coloured leaves to contrast, and it looks positively striking.)
