This is a step by step photo tutorial on how to make a sock with a short row heel and a knit 2 purl 2 rib cuff. Everything very easy and not fancy.
This could be a first time sock since it uses worsted weight yarn.
Working on double pointed needles is easier with the heavier weight yarn.
You can adjust the length of the sock: for a woman’s size 8 you will need about 220 yards. Since this is a heavy sock it would also fit a man without any stitch adjustments.
