The inspiration for the You are a Heart in Mine design came from traditional needlework charts in the book Charted Folk Designs for Cross-Stitch Embroidery.

Though the You are a Heart in Mine design is a simple heart within a heart, it symbolizes so much more. May each stitch and bead remind you of all those who are special in your life, and you in theirs.

Samples on left shown in Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread, Fashion 3 – 100% Mercerized Cotton. Shown in 4 sizes, from 4.25’’ to 6.5’’ circumference.

Each bracelet, plus gauge swatch, requires from 23 to 47 yds.
Bead requirements in size # 6 vary from 70 to 130, depending on bracelet size.

Photo on left shows bracelets worn by a dear friend Louise, her daughter-in-law Brit and granddaughter Ari – three generations of beaded hearts who are endearingly intertwined in affection for each other!

Pattern was professionally tech edited by Sandi Rosner.
