Nearly a plain jersey cowl with just a ladder on the front or the side, which is knitted in 2 contrasting colours to keep knitting interesting.

This pattern is perfect for using a short gradient yarn or a semi-solid colour for the background colour of the zebra crossing.The contrasting colour used in the background stripes must contrast strongly with the main colour. It’s perfect for all those beloved leftover yarns.
You will need only around 10/20 g for the CC depending on the size you are knitting.
