A slouchy cowl knit in the round with a ribbed zigzag pattern. The pattern includes a simple chart and is a great beginner’s knitting project.

A note about yarn: the sample in the pictures was knit with Noro Cash Island, which is now called Cashmere Island. This is a single spun yarn, which makes the result more relaxed and less “springy” than if knit with a multiple-ply yarn.

The width and length of this cowl are easily changed by adding or subtracting pattern repeats.
