The project Ascot Berets was all about shape, stability, wearability, warmth and chic. It resulted in a small production run of 10 de-luxe berets, which are worthy to be called hats. Majorily hand knitted with double-layers-technique, elaborately designed and finished with ornamental appliqués. There is no specific front. You can rotate them and wear them as you like. This aspect of flexible wearability provides various visual impressions.

6 DPN 3.5mm (US 4), 3 circular needles (cn) 3.5mm (US 4) á 60cm long, 1 tapestry needle, 1 sewing needle, some cotton thread in matching color for sewing, 12 markers or safety pins, approx. 3m (3.5 yds) of yarn in contrasting color for provisional cast on, 3 small silver metallic buttons

Gauge not critical, only high tension recommended.

Im Projekt Ascot Mützen drehte sich alles rund um Form, Stabilität, Tragefähigkeit, Wärme und Chic. Entstanden ist eine limitierte Kleinserie mit 10 exklusiven Mützen, die dem Namen Hut gerecht werden. Größtenteils doppelwändig handgestrickt, aufwendig vollendet und dekorativ appliziert. Alle Hüte haben keine Vorderseite bzw. Hinterseite und können nach Belieben gedreht und getragen werden, womit jederzeit eine andere Optik erreicht wird.

Maschenprobe ist nicht kritisch, jedoch fest stricken empfehlenswert.
