Update October 3rd 2014: If you purchased the pattern in the yarn kit at the shop, please contact me since a couple of P2s should be P1s.I’ll get the corrected file to you.

This interestingly textured hat looks complex but is fairly easy to knit. It has only knit and purl stitches, simple increases and decreases and an easy to work two-stitch-cable for which you don’t even need a cable needle! This makes it an ideal project for first time cable knitters!

The hat is worked in the round on either DPNs or circular needles. Written and charted instructions are both included.

Plus: It’s a one skein project and rather quick to knit!
(You’ll be totally fine with less than one skein of bulky Artesano Britsh Wool but knitters who made this hat in a different yarn reported they needed slightly more than that :around 120 yards)

The pattern is available in German and English (the language is in the title of the file) and consits of two pages (without pictures).

Zukunftsmusik was specially designed for Fadenliebe yarn shop in Halle, Germany, where it is available as a kit (including yarn, needles, and even a workshop if requested).
