With so much romance and joy, I knew that this beloved holiday ballet was the perfect inspiration for Knitvent this year. Each of the six mystery patterns this season draw from the spirit of the Nutcracker’s enchanted dreamworld, dancing between the elegant beauty of a prima ballerina and the wide-eyed wonder of a child lost in the Land of Sweets.

Every year, the Curious Handmade community gathers together to celebrate Knitvent: a lovely mix between an advent calendar and a mystery knit along. Each week a surprise accessory pattern will appear in your Ravelry library. Each pattern has been designed to be ideal for gifting, but don’t forget to be good to yourself, too!
