Pattern cards
© The Hamlyn Publishing Group Ltd. MCMLXXIX (1979) or © Odhams Leisure Group MCMLXXXII (1982) . Printed in USA.
Publications could be dated 1979 to 1985 on the back of each pattern card. Cards are punched.
Size of cards: 8.27” x 5.83” (210 mm x 148 mm).
Card has a 30 mm band across the top in a gold-cream colour, the section is printed at the top left, the name of the pattern below in large font.
A coloured skein of yarn with two needles thru it is on the right. There are stars above the skein
- one star to three stars for difficulty rating.
The colour on the yarn skein is reproduced on the line separating the gold-cream border and pattern picture.
Cards were filed into two or three 2-punch binders which were brown or blue or white (depends on edition) in colour. The more patterns that were collected/subscribed to, the more binders were required.
The abbreviation card may be required for using the patterns.
