Notes

I really love how my cowl is coming along. It is definitely requiring patience on my part, as I cast on about 260 st for this design. Definitely, the largest project I have undertaken since I began to study knitting in Jan. 2013.

Finally my cowl is completed. Used 40’’ circulars in size US 8 because I wanted it to be very long as I am 6’2.

I love how the white make the turquoise in the scarf really pop and color blocking is all the rage right now as well as bright colors!

It is a reversible cowl as well. I have one pattern on one side that is more simple and a more elaborate pattern on the other.

I have a few mistakes lol. my son got a hold my my project and about 40 sts were dropped. On the plus side I learned how to fix dropped stitches that have fallen multiple rows down. An hour and 15 minutes later or so after taking my patience to new heights I repaired all my stitches although my tension differed slightly from the surrounding stitches.

I am looking forward to uploading a pdf. of my pattern for anyone who wants it.
