7/15/11 - Definitely wishing I would have done a wider toe. I think I should have cast on 16 to each needle and then knit for an extra 6 rows after increasing before starting the next section. Up to Row 24 of expansion charts on Sock #1. I think I won’t increase any more after this as it’s fitting almost TOO loosely at this point already. My feet are 8.25 inches long and 8.5 inches around at the widest points (ball and through widest part of arch).

7/16/11 - Decided to work two socks at a time. Casting on Sock #2.

7/17/11 - Moved both socks to the same needle. Up to row 42 for both socks.

7/24/11 - I ended up doing a different pattern for the heel turn…nothing radically different, but a little different. I did a slip 1, p1 rib on the RS and a k1, p1 rib on the WS so that it would give a little extra cush and sturdiness to the heel. I’m several rows into the cuff and decided not to decrease the 4 stitches like it says to. Am hoping that the rest is a brainless knit that I’ll be able to work on in the car on the way to Sock Summit. :)

8/6/11 - finished. finally. The sizing on these seems a little funny. I also ended up not doing the k3,p1 cuff for two inches. That just seemed way too long and stood out kinda strange against the other pattern.
