Realized halfway through the second sock that my original impression was right, the second ball of yarn is darker. I’d bought this color from two sources and didn’t think to match up dyelots. I found another ball that matched and knit the second sock to match.

Am doing another slightly darker pair in the other dye lot to gift to Theresa A. My hubby is visiting his friend Lou for a jazz festival for a week. So those will be a gift to Lou’s wife Theresa (size 6 feet). Hers will be the same size as Jan’s.
