156 sts with a tubular cast on followed by 29 rounds of 1x1 ribbing for the brim. I was too lazy to deal with 2x2.

I’m getting very nervous about being able to finish the body with what’s left. I don’t understand how I’m using more yarn in the same damn size but I may have to do the decreases and crown in the black. confounded

Fuck, I totally didn’t make it. Finished with 71 rounds (and about 6.5”) instead of the 83 I managed on the previous version. I must have gone up a needle size on the first one and will adjust that page accordingly. I finished the crown in black and it looks pretty cute. And it’s done! So take that, yarn chicken! Ass.
