I’m in love with this textured brioche-stitch. The brioche-stitch looks complicated, but you should just trust Hiro when she says to read the instructions and follow them.
I repeat: READ FIRST, THEN KNIT :).
It is so easy once you get hold of the technique!

Oups, somehow I ended up making the first rib shorter. So I knit the brioche-stitch accordingly larger (15 rep). I knit the second rib almost as wide as the pattern says (8 rep + 1 setup row in CA), because I really like the large rib in brioche stitch.

I initially wanted to use two beautiful skeins of Malabrigo Arroyo in the last photo, but as it’s sport-weight the size will be altered.

So for the test-knit, I ordered some colourful Dulcimer Doigts de fee DK from Sophiedoz. I’m in awe - the colours are stunning! And the yarn is soooo soft.
