8/21/11 My guage is off, with the suggested needle size, it was to loose, and when i went down it was to tight. I’ll just knit a size smaller than what I want with the tighter gauge. I like the fabric I get with 20spi on ww yarn. I started the buttonhole 1/2” later than I should have, instead of 1.5” down, it’s 2” down. I’ve finished the raglan increases needed, but may knit a couple more rows plain before joining so that the button hole can be centered somewhat.

9/2/11 Working on 1 X1 ribbing at bottom now. I thought it may have been to long, so i tried it on him to see, but I think I’ll just let it stay a little long, he will probably hit a growth spurt this fall. This is my first time working with tweed yarn. I don’t think I’ll use it again. I’m not a fan of the nubby fabric. Maybe it’s just the Encore tweed. I’ll pay closer attention to the yarn if I go with a tweed again.

9/5/11 Working on the sleeves now. Just realized somehow I did the crossover placket backwards, so the buttonholes are on the “wrong” side. sigh, this is my first time doing a Henley style pullover, so I’ve learned my lesson for next time.^_^ He’s little enough, I don’t think it will be a big deal at this point. :)

9/19/11 First sleeve done, 71 rows, now starting on the ribbing. The sleeve is a little more narrow than what I’d like, I think my in the round gauge changed.

The buttonholes don’t line up, but he moves around enough, it shouldn’t be noticeable!
