Notes

I really love it casual! This is the perfect sweater for cozy days! The best piece I’ve ever made! but…

knitting I just used a few things from the beginning of the pattern and did the rest by myself. I would say I am a good knitter, but this pattern is really confusing (as other knitters already said)! Had to begin 3 times for the short rows and one time again after I begin to work in the round. Makes me a little bit angry, because the pattern costs €5,-! So I also asked the designer for some help, but didn’t get an answer…

result An adorable sweater, which will attend me a long time! I like the asymmetric style a lot!

yarn A good yarn! But a bit hard at the end… hope it will get besser after washing a few times!

a few thoughts…
After I had worked all W&Ts, the pattern says to work Patt1 until the marker of the beginning of round. And then purl for front piece until Patt2. But I had already worked the P row (Row 2 of Patt1) on first 24 stitches when I worked the last wrap & turn. So I cut the yarn, slipped the 24 stitches to the right needle, place the new yarn and purled as the pattern says.

Increases with M1R and M1P.

All Sizes: Started the first Rnd 1 from Patt2 with Rnd 3 (because there were already 2 knitted rounds) and worked the pattern until 5 stitches are left between the markers. Then I repeated the Patt1 for 3 times more without decreases and increases and ended at round 11, as the pattern says.

Knitted sleeves in the round: CO 40 sts, increase on every 10th round for a total of 8 times. (56 stitches)

Raglan decreases every 4th row 4 times (before and after the cables and at the back, where back were joined with the sleeves), then every other row for 14 times more.

Neck shaping with short rows.
Knitted in pattern to 10 stitches before the 1st cable, W&T, knitted back to 10 stitches before second cable, W&T, knitted to W&T, knitted in pattern 4 more stitches, repeat on other side, knitted in pattern to end of round. Started with ribbing.
