Notes

Everybody has to make a vest like this for their children/grandchildren/neighbourgrs children/ramdom child on street. Just because it is so fun and pretty at the same time.

  • Loved the pattern - easy and clear to follow.
  • Fell in love with the design allready as a grown-up pattern, but this little vest is so cute and wearable for toddlers AND it is such a quick knit! So even if you don´t have any child to knit for, knit it for yourself!
  • I have nothing but praise to Ann for coming up with the idea!
  • I knitted with 3,5 mm, because I tend to have a tight gauge, so the vest became just as magical as I knew it could be.
  • Ellen loves it: “Fiiiin, fiiiin” (Wich means “pretty, pretty” in danish).
  • I purled last stitch on every row, starting with slipping the first stitch to make a nice and pretty edge. This also help at the end, where you have to pick up rows to finish the vest.
  • Did I mention: no seaming!!!!!
  • Omitted the tiny 2-stitch cable for a no-brainer-knit.
  • I have to make another one for Ivalo. Now.

You can buy the pattern and yarn at Tante Grøn - the sizes go from 1 year to 14 years.
