Notes

I plan to make this as a sweater when I stop worrying about sizing.
12/04/14 After much procrastination I decided that do to it being a sweater rather than cardigan I needed to make up for the front borders and also the tension of the yarn I’m using is 22 sts to 4in, Due to this I cast on for a 36” but rounded it up for a full repeats so the yoke worked in the round.
15/04/14 Ripped back to the yoke after doing a lot on the wrap rows I realised I’d been looking at the size 38” and was doing 4 sts after my wraps instead of 3. How annoying I’m not put off though and I’m continuing. Onward Bound.
18/ 04/14 I’m happily onto the sleeves, I figured out the problem I was having with the wrap rows was not the wrapping to do the short rows but was the instructions for picking up the wrap and knitting it out so the wrap is invisible. I’d never done this previously but I was instructed to Purl Bee’s wonderful site for this tutorial.x
23/4/14 I’ve finished my first sleeve and decided I didn’t want a large cuff and went down to 3.25mm needles for the garter stitch so it’s tighter and neat, I also chose the blue that I used on my birds to cast off with for the contrast edge. It looks lovely.
4/05/14 I’ve gotten to my waist increases and I decided to do 11 rnds straight after waist decreases so I could fit in an extra set of increases as my hips go out slightly more than my bust measurement.
Managed to reach the edging of the body which I’ve done on 3 1/4mm circular needle only thing left to do now is the neck edging.
5/05/14 I’ve done the neck edging and picked up the same stitches I started with at the yoke but on smaller needle
