I’m doubling the lace yarn, since I have tons of yardage to work with.

6/30: well, apparently I don’t have TONS of yardage because I don’t have enough to finish the last clue. So now I’m at a standstill trying to decide how to proceed or if frogging is necessary. It seems tragic to frog after 95% of the shawl is done! There has to be a solution to this that I’ll be happy with….

7/13: well, I frogged it. I love the pattern and want to knit it again, but it just didn’t work out with other yarns for the edging. I’m pretty disappointed…but since I’m more of a process knitter, I guess it’s okay. sigh…..

8/5: I’m dyeing some yarn today that I’ll use to remake this shawl. Hopefully it’s not felting in the crockpot right now!

9/10: The shawl is finished and blocking. I had lots of yardage so decided to do the extra section. It’s huge!

I had 12.5 gms left over.
