03-08 Wound the warp on March 2, finally got the loom fully dressed this evening.

03-20 This was my first time doing my wearable art style using a variegated yarn, I’m so pleased!! I adore these colours together, it reminds me of opalized wood, that incredible flash of turquoise between the colours of earth.

Fringes are twisted, now only hemming and finishing awaits, then off to its new home, hurrah! I just love commissions, it’s SO much fun to bring somebody’s vision to life :)

03-21 I can’t believe how light and soft and gorgeous this shawl is!! SUCH a beautiful piece, so fun to make. The finer the materials, the finer the end product, and it’s got to be hard to find finer materials than what I had the opportunity to combine in this shawl :)
