Notes

I am just improvising a big, incredibly soft snood for my sister.

Cast on 176 stitches onto a circular 5.5mm needle. And am now doing a k2 p2 rib until I run out of wool!

This yarn is incredibly soft and beautiful. It’s undyed so it’s a natural white colour. Am hoping the end result will make a nice cosy Christmas present.

Update at end: Added a second skein of wool onto this as it looked quite small once I had finished the first one.

Really pleased with this, it’s soft and fluffy and very, very warm! Hadn’t expected it to become so elastic once it was off the needles, but it really stretches out a lot. Fits round twice easily or hangs down in a rather attractive way just wound once…
