What addictive knitting this pattern is. I can already tell I will love the FO. I slipped the first stitch on each row for a neater edge. To avoid weaving in ends at each stripe, I carried the yarn up and knit both colors together for the first knit stitch before dropping the old color. For my w&t, I am using the method described by many others, bring yarn to front, slip as if to knit, bring yarn to back, slip back as if to purl, and on return knit through the back loop.

I didn’t get it done by the end of the Olympics, but I am not surprised. I am very happy with how the shawl looks, and am hoping to get some more length after blocking.

It definitely grew after blocking, nearly 5 feet along the bottom edge and close to 6 feet along the top/curve.
