Tested the pattern for Linda.

I calculated that there are 45,392 stitches in this shawl, and the colour reminds me of mangoes, hence the name.

The pattern itself isn’t difficult, especially if you’ve made the smaller items in the collection. I think this is by far my largest thing so far (along with the VESS that I turned into the parasol).

I worked from the written instructions. The lace is pretty intuitive, therefore you don’t need to refer to the pattern very often.

I did not use beads since I thought this would make a nice tablecloth.
