She saw this hat and LOVED it. I have been dying to make it. We went to the yarn store today to get the yarn and ended up with the wonderful Dream in Color Smooshy, which I have been dying to work with! I did a swatch holding both ends together and I came out with gauge, 5 sts to 1”. Perfect. I ordered the pattern on Etsy, now if the designer will just email me the pdf….!!

This is such a great pattern! I have LOVED making this and will totally make it again. The Smooshy double stranded was so perfect for this. And the color is just gorgeous! Lots of turquoise with flecks of blue and purple!

Alteration:
Because the circumference of this hat looked smaller than the original, I decided to only CO 28 sts for the hat flap. It turned out perfect.

I know Liz will wear this all the time once it gets colder! She’s such a flapper too, and loves all things ’20s!
