Cast on 31 Stitches

Reversed the stitches to work better with Portuguese knitting which, for me, is the most ergonomic way to purl. It also minimizes right arm/shoulder movement transitioning from the 3 knit stitches to a YO and back after the p2tog. With my approach if you don’t flip the yarn to the back before doing the k2tog, you automatically create the YO. A two in one!

P3, yo, K2tog, repeat from across.

If you are interested in Portuguese knitting there are videos on YouTube and Craftsy has a class.

Love the way this reversed stitch pattern is coming out. The k2tog does look different then p2tog and creates a sharper line and pleat.
