Seems this sweater runs big, and fortunately my boy runs small. Trying to make it long sleeved on just 2 skeins of yarn. It’s gonna be a nail-biter!!
Doing it in 2 shades of brown because I love tone on tone combinations - I thought about adding in an orange stripe to make the yarn go further. I’ll likely frog and do just that if I can’t make this work with 2 skeins.

I made it on just 2 skeins - but I had to do the sleeve cuffs in the light shade and all the other ribbing in the dark shade. Disappointing, but I wasn’t about to buy more of the same for the sake of less than 600 stitches. If I hadn’t done the long sleeves - and my son didn’t have freakishly long arms - this wouldn’t have even been a concern.

Really handsome sweater - I’m quite happy with it, and I’m planning to make more in larger sizes.
