DDs BF got socks last Christmas, and he wore them 3 days in a row! Another pair this year, even despite the fact that his feet are big! This yarn is super thin, too, so I am going to use 0s, and cast on 88 sts. One at a time, though…one at a time.

I cast on 88sts, and I ribbed 2x2 for 12 rows. Switched to k7, p1, evenly spaced around, for the body of the sock, 72 rows total. Knit heel on 44sts for 50 rows, turn heel (sl1, k24, k2tog, k1, turn, etc.), pick up 26 on each side for gussets after turning heel. Knit st st on gusset/sole, k7/p1 pattern centered over instep for a total of 92 rows. 1 row plain. Toe - (1 dec row, 2 plain rows)x3. Decrease every other row for toes to 12+12sts, and Kitchener.

09.22.10 - Finished Sock One! Started Sock Two. This is all I am bringing to knitting tonight, I really want to make some headway before I start 05Christmas 2010 Project!

10.08.10 - DONE!!! Hopefully I will start the next Christmas project this weekend!
