So, I needed a place to put this spinning project. I am planning to knit the yarn, when it is yarn, which it nearly is. But, it doesn’t know what it wants to be yet!

It started out as an 18g bag of fluff (Superwash Merino, Merino Mill Ends, Ingeo, Bamboo, Angelina and Firestar), White, then White-and-Pink, then Pink. I suppose the color order might could go the other direction, but this is the direction I spun the singles.

Spun on a 28g spindle from DragonCraft (out of business, sadly), into a pretty fine thread. Navajo plied on a 41g spindle, this turned out pretty nice. :)

03.19.13 - and it is yarn! I have about 113 yards (22wpi), which is lighter than fingering. (Photos when it is dry…) I wonder what it wants to be…I am thinking lace scarf.

04.09.13 - I’ve decided on a pattern, and I am adding in some beads on the ends! Now, my only dilemma is whether or not to knit from both ends and meet in the middle (to mirror the lace), or just to try to make the beads match by happenstance…

04.11.13 - I did knit from both ends. It turned out very well, and I think I am in love with the whole process…scrumptious stuff!!!
