  • Co 258 sts.
  • Knit garter for 4 rows.
  • BO 86 sts, K to end of row.
  • BO 86 sts, K to end of row.
  • Purl back while increasing 11 sts evenly over the next row = 97 sts
  • Knit 4 sts in garter on each side, knit rest of sts in lace pattern
  • Repeat lace pattern 2.5 times.
  • K 1 row from the WS
  • Divide sts as follows: 29 sts - PM - 39 sts - PM - 29 sts
  • Knit to the first marker, then:
  • Knit stockinette across the center sts, k2tog after the marker at the end of each row. Slip the ktog-stitch.
  • When 5 sts remain at each edge, decrease 10 sts evenly across the center sts
  • Knit garter across the center sts, k2tog at the end of each row until no sts remain
  • Bind off.
