This stole is going to be a Christmas present for my mother. I think this pattern with its geometrical motifs and nupps knitted with classy white yarn is great as an older woman’s accessory.
Mods:

• knitting with 3.75mm needles instead of 4.5mm, so perhaps I will need to do more pattern repeats to achieve the needed length
• slip the last stitch and knit the first stitch of every row through the back loop instead of slipping the first st with yarn at the front to receive nice, stretchy and noticeable slip-stitch edge.
• doing SSK instead of (sl1 k1 psso)
