Wonderful clear pattern, beautiful result. Fun knit! I’m already planning another one for spring in a silk blend.

Used KLL for m1 on the increase sections like a lot of others. You can see what the KLL increase looks like in the 3rd pic from the top. Note that KLL does not “match” the k2tog decreases in the decrease section (you can see the difference if you look closely to the 4th photo down - KLLs on the top part, k2togs in th ebottom part of the photo). This didn’t matter to me, but it might to someone else.

Actually ended up with about 1/3 -1/2 skein of the mal left over.

I am a little ambivalent about the Malabrigo. It’s definitely soft, and the color is saturated. Nice stitch definition and relaxed a lot during blocking. But I personally prefer a little less color variation in my “semi-solids” and the skeins I had were very irregular in thickness. If I made another one of these, I would use a more “regular” yarn.
